Job summary

Alphatec Spine is seeking a design-focused engineer to develop Customized Instruments. You will create detailed parts and assemblies in SolidWorks, coordinate with surgeons, marketing, and sales to capture design requirements, and deliver manufacturable solutions.

You will manage requests in ServiceNOW, generate design documentation (CDHF), and support manufacturing with DFM/DFA methods while collaborating with the machine shop and clinical teams to gain practical insight.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in mechanical or biomedical engineering with an emphasis on mechanical design.
• 1–4 years of product development experience, preferably in spine or implantable orthopedic medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Customized Instruments using SolidWorks.
• Intake, tracking and completing requests in ServiceNOW platform.
