Job summary

PathGroup is seeking a Patient Service Team Leader to supervise the day-to-day work of the Patient Service Centers (PSCs) and In-office Patient Services Technicians (IOPSTs). You will ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time in a safe, professional environment.

You will train, coach and evaluate phlebotomists, coordinate PSC/IOPST workflows, and assist in opening new facilities as needed. You may travel to client locations with short notice to support operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Medical training as medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisors with implementation of SOPs for patient services in accordance with PathGroup guidelines.
• Function as backup for the Patient Services Supervisor as necessary and carry out duties in his/her absence.
• Coordinate the work of patient services technicians to assure production is consistent and service levels are maintained.
• Train, coach, and provide input on performance evaluations of phlebotomists.
