American Vision Partners (AVP) is seeking a Patient Services Specialist Team Lead to support the Clinic Manager by supervising front office and back-office staff, managing patient check-in/out, and ensuring accurate scheduling and documentation.

You will coordinate with billing, verify benefits, maintain EHR accuracy, train teammates, and uphold patient care standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. AVP offers growth, benefits, and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Patient Service Specialist certification required.
• Knowledge of scheduling and insurance authorization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Dedication to high quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with staff scheduling and ensure efficient patient flow.
• Handle front and back-office duties including check-in/out and scheduling.
• Verify benefits and prepare medical records.
• Respond to phone calls and schedule appointments per protocol.
• Review doctor schedules and adjust as needed.
• Train front and back-office staff.
• Maintain PHI confidentiality and adhere to policies.
• Support end-of-day checklists and monitor open tasks.
