Job summary

American Vision Partners (AVP) is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to be the patient's first touch and ensure an exceptional visit experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Detail oriented, reliable, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Medical Front Desk experience is preferred.
• Flexible schedule.
• Dedicated to creating a quality patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly in person or by telephone.
• Check patients in and out.
• Schedule clinic and surgical appointments including pre- and post-operative visits.
• Review paperwork with patients; obtain consents for procedures.
• Verify insurance and collect payments.
• Maintain patient medical records.
