Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Associates Degree in Healthcare or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of medical billing procedures required.
• Medical office software experience required.
• Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding preferred.
• Prior medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and the community with strong customer service.
• Process admission paperwork and verify insurance.
• Answer internal and external calls in a friendly manner.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
• Coordinate bed placement and inform supervisor of issues.
• Schedule appointments and update medical records.
