Qualifications

• Minimum GED or Diploma; Associate degree preferred.
• High accuracy data entry and computer skills.
• Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with professional staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, families, staff at check-in/out.
• Pre-register and register patients; verify insurance.
• Coordinate initial evaluations and appointments for multi-disciplines.
• Handle calls from insurance/care managers to coordinate care.
• Collect charges and provide receipts; discuss payment options including charity care.
• Respond to inquiries; support Scheduling and Patient Financial Services.
• Collaborate with other departments to assure financial reimbursement for outpatient services.
• Provide clerical/therapist support as delegated by Manager.
