Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Patient Services Representative – Float Pool to handle patient registration, verify demographics and insurance, and collect payments with excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required or preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience with patient registration and scheduling is a plus.
• Familiarity with insurance verification and payer requirements is beneficial.
• Ability to accurately process payments and manage cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices.
• Process patient registration and verify demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule appointments and assist with documentation and referrals.
• Explain financial options and collect patient liabilities as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely updating of medical records and MyChart access.
