Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in clerical/administrative duties preferred.
• Healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Experience with scheduling systems preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and families, provides prompt, caring responses.
• Performs front desk duties including visit prep and co-pay collection.
• Schedules patient visits and diagnostic testing using hospital procedures.
• Manages third-party payors and co-pay collection.
• Fulfills general office duties (faxing, copying, filing, mailings, calls).
• Maintains front desk inventory and communicates needs to staff.
