Job summary

Center for Vein Restoration in Springfield, MA is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our healthcare team. You will greet patients, check in/out, schedule appointments, collect copays, and ensure patient information is updated in NextGen/EHR, while upholding HIPAA and clinic policies.

The role is a day shift, Monday–Friday with no nights or weekends. A minimum of 1 year in administrative or customer service work in a medical setting is required; Spanish fluency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year administrative or customer service experience in a medical setting.
• Reliable transportation to clinics and willingness to travel to CVR clinics.
• Spanish fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner and check in/out.
• Ensure CVR policies are distributed, understood, and followed by staff.
• Ensure patient charts are HIPAA compliant and updated in NextGen/EHR.
• Review scheduling, financials, and referrals with patients during care.
• Send precertification forms daily to the Precertification Department.
• Complete daily close tasks including fee tickets and billing.
• Verify future schedules have preauthorization for treatment.
• Collect paperwork for appointments and update patient records in NextGen.
• Collect copays and balances at time of service; confirm emails.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and collect patient contact details.
