Select Medical in San Diego, CA seeks a Patient Service Specialist for our outpatient PT center. You will greet and register patients, schedule visits, and communicate with insurance and other partners to ensure a smooth patient flow.

The role is full-time, weekdays with a 9am–6pm schedule (Mon–Thu). You will handle co-pays and verify insurance, contributing to a positive patient experience from the front desk through checkout.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of front desk experience.
• At least 1 year of medical office experience.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and register patients and inform them about visits and next appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys, insurance companies, translation services, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance authorizations and verifications.
