Virginia Oral & Facial Surgery in Chester, VA seeks a motivated Patient Service Representative to join our fast-paced oral surgery environment. Responsibilities include check-in/out, updating patient records, and coordinating appointments to ensure a positive patient experience.

The role requires 2+ years in customer service and experience in medical/dental practices, along with knowledge of insurance processes. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for training.

Formación

• Two years of customer service experience.
• Experience in a medical or dental practice.
• Knowledge of insurance processes and verifications.
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Confirm and update patient identification, demographic, and insurance information.
• Prepare patient charts and documentation for upcoming appointments.
• Perform all check-in and check-out functions, including collecting necessary information and payments.
• Obtain patient consents/authorizations and process insurance pre-authorizations and referrals.
• Answer incoming calls promptly, document messages, and route inquiries to appropriate personnel.
• Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized medical records.
• Support overall front-office operations and assist with other duties as assigned.
