Travel to other locations may be required as needed. Responsibilities include answering calls, collecting insurance details, coordinating paperwork, and ensuring accurate EMR data.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Specialized training beyond high school.
• 1–3 years' experience preferred.
• Customer service and healthcare experience preferred.
• Medical office/call center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone lines promptly and courteously; triage calls.
• Register patients; collect, verify, and maintain information.
• Coordinate paperwork for registration, scheduling, and appointments.
• Collect, verify, and maintain patient insurance information and authorizations.
• Collect copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and balances; balance at end of day.
• Schedule visits using templates; manage no-shows and cancellations.
• Check in/check out patients; triage electronic communications.
• Scan documents into EMR; place results in patient chart for review.
• Process release of information and medical record requests.
• Ensure billing documents have complete coding information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
