Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: Less than 1 year in related role.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient duties including check-in and check-out, scheduling, insurance verification and answering phones.
• Registers patients by collecting and verifying insurance information and entering changes into the system.
• Accepts payments for services according to guidelines and posts payments/charges in the system.
• Generates daily payment reports and verifies cash drawer against reports.
• Provides information to patients and approved outside entities about services, finances and procedures.
• Responds to routine inquiries about practice hours, services and operations.
• Assists with medical records duties as requested.
