Qualifications

• High school diploma and 4 years of appropriate professional/specialized experience required.
• Experience working with electronic medical records and medical billing preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this position.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff and faculty; strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and route to appropriate personnel; take messages and assign tasks.
• Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments; contact patients to reschedule as needed.
• Triage calls and direct to Medical Assistant/Nurse or Office leadership as appropriate.
• Enter accurate demographic data (address, phone, insurance) and verify scheduling details.
• Inform patients what to bring to appointments; remind them of arrival times.
