Job summary

Reno Orthopedic Center is looking for a Full-time Patient Services Rep to greet and check-in patients at our main location, 555 N Arlington Ave, Reno, NV. You will manage front-d desk tasks, enter patient information, verify insurances, collect payments, and keep a calm, efficient flow in busy clinics.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of reception experience, a high school diploma, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• One year of reception experience preferred.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• Experience entering data in electronic medical records and using office software.

Responsibilities

• Check-in/check-out patients, and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Accurately enter patient demographic information in electronic medical records.
• Scan photo IDs and insurance cards and verify insurances.
• Collect applicable co-pays and ensure billing information is updated.
• Balance money drawers at end of day.
• Maintain calm and efficient patient flow through the clinics.
