Job summary

Allergy Partners seeks a Patient Service Representative to register patients, answer calls, and prepare the office for daily operations. You will schedule appointments, collect payments, post charges, and balance transactions daily according to policy.

The role supports physician referrals and handles insurance verification in a fast-paced clinic environment. Requirements include a high school diploma and at least two years in medical office or customer service.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a medical office or customer service.
• Proven success asking for payment, making change, and balancing a cash drawer.
• Familiarity with scheduling and managed care terminology.
• Comfortable using email, word processing and Internet applications.
• Bi-lingual is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Register patients, answer the telephone, schedule appointments.
• Collect payment at the time of service and post charges/payments.
• Balance daily transactions and prepare daily close packets.
• Verify demographics and insurance information for patients.
• Maintain a neat front office and ensure HIPAA compliance.
