Qualifications

• Typing speed of 40+ WPM and basic computer skills preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus (ICD-9 coding preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices.
• Register patients and verify demographics during intake.
• Schedule appointments and enter scheduling information into the system.
• Explain financial options to patients and collect payments as needed.
• Process insurance verification and update patient records in the system.
• Assist with referrals, pre-certifications, and patient chart management.
