Job summary

Bon Secours Endocrinology - St. Francis Physician Services in SC is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and the community.

You will register patients, verify demographics, collect insurance information, and help with scheduling and MyChart access. Responsibilities include processing admissions, explaining financial options, handling payments, and maintaining accurate medical records while providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Prior experience in patient registration/healthcare (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices.
• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Schedule patients, enter scheduling data into the system.
• Verify demographics and insurance, process registrations.
• Collect patient payments and reconcile cash.
• Assist with referrals, authorizations, and patient records management.
