You will greet patients, manage a multi-line phone system, verify insurance, collect copays, update the EMR, and perform outreach while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Strong customer service and 45+ WPM typing are expected.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of healthcare front office experience.
• Strong customer service background.
• Multi-line phone system experience.
• Intermediate computer skills; 45+ WPM typing.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA.
• Athena or other EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and direct patients and visitors with professionalism.
• Resolve issues promptly and maintain a positive patient experience.
• Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records (EMR).
• Complete outreach tasks via reminder calls and emails.
• Answer high‑volume, multi‑line calls using urgent/emergent protocols.
• Verify insurance eligibility, collect copays, and coordinate with insurers.
• Process payments at time of service.
• Perform general office duties and maintain supply inventory.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and clinic safety policies.
