Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years of healthcare front office experience preferred.
• Strong customer service background required.
• Experience with multi-line phone systems.
• Intermediate computer skills; 45+ WPM typing.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA.
• Experience with EMR systems (Athena or similar).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and direct visitors professionally.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Schedule appointments and maintain accurate EMR records.
• Complete reminder calls, emails, and other outreach tasks.
• Answer high-volume, multi-line calls using urgent/emergent protocols.
• Verify insurance eligibility, collect copays, and coordinate with insurers.
• Process payments at time of service.
• Perform general office duties and manage supply inventory.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and clinic policies.
