Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology from formal course or health care setting.
• General clerical skills and ability to operate standard office equipment (MS Office, Excel, Word, Adobe).
• Ability to communicate effectively with others in person and on the telephone.

Responsibilities

• Register patients, verify insurance, pre-certifications, signatures and authorizations for billing and release of information.
• Maintain daily Pain Clinic schedule and coordinate with nursing staff and physicians; schedule appointments with patients.
• Handle filing, data entry, and general office duties including document production and data transfer.
