Corewell Health Urgent Care is seeking a friendly Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact, ensuring a welcoming and efficient patient experience in a fast-paced setting.

You will manage front-office operations, assist with administrative tasks, verify insurance, collect payments, and support clinic workflow while adhering to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines. This is a full-time, all-shifts role with opportunity for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Warm Welcome: Greet and assist all patients with a positive attitude.
• Patient and Business Documentation: Maintain confidentiality while organizing documents.
• Insurance Verification: Verify eligibility and provide payment policies.
• Financial Responsibility: Collect patient’s financial responsibility accurately.
• Collaborative Support: Assist the practice manager, providers, and staff.
• Compliance: Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance in documentation and processes.
• Administrative Duties: Perform office procedures and operate medical equipment.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure quality programs and patient result trackers.
• Travel Requirement: Support staffing by traveling to other Corewell Health Urgent Care locations as needed.
