Olympic Sports & Spine is seeking a Patient Service Rep. for the Olympia Eastside clinic to manage front desk activities, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communications.

This role emphasizes accuracy, courteous patient interactions, and collaboration with billing and clinical staff. You will handle insurance verifications, maintain charts, and support daily operations while ensuring a positive patient experience and timely information flow.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of experience in a related position preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and computer programs is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and strong organizational ability are required.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming patient calls and schedule appointments.
• Verify insurance and obtain authorizations as needed.
• Build and maintain patient charts and records.
• Balance patient payments nightly and print reports.
• Maintain daily statistical log sheets and follow up on tasks.
• Coordinate with billing and treating staff to resolve patient matters.
• Communicate via Outlook with OSS staff and referral sources.
