Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of experience in a front-office or receptionist role.
• Experience handling patient check-ins and scheduling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handles telephone calls from patients and staff; triages as needed.
• Performs receptionist duties with attention to detail and professionalism.
• Verifies health insurance information and educates patients on applicable regulations; collects payments.
• Data entry of service charges and assignment of diagnostic codes for charges.
• Coordinates information with Central Billing Office to ensure charges are captured and collected.
