BJC Medical Group is seeking a Patient Services Representative for the Creve Coeur, MO outpatient Primary Care site. You will manage front office tasks including patient check-ins, appointment scheduling, and basic billing support in a busy clinic.

This full-time, day-shift role offers 40 hours per week with no call, no weekends, and no holidays. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and medical office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of related experience in a medical office setting.
• Front office and check-in experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Handles telephone calls from patients and staff; forwards calls requiring triage.
• Performs receptionist duties with close attention to detail and professionalism.
• Verifies health insurance payment information and educates patients on the applicable regulations; collects payments and records data.
• Performs data entry of service charges, to include the assignment of diagnostic codes and the entering of all physician and clinic related charges.
• Coordinates information with Central Billing Office to ensure all charges are captured and properly collected.
