Job summary

BJC Medical Group in Chesterfield, MO is seeking a full-time Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact in the front office. You will manage patient check-ins, scheduling, and basic financial duties in a busy family medicine setting.

The role offers a day shift, 40 hours per week, and is benefit eligible with no on-call, weekends, or holidays. Previous medical office experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Handles telephone calls from patients and staff; forwards calls requiring triage.
• Performs receptionist duties with close attention to detail and professionalism.
• Verifies health insurance payment information and educates patients on applicable regulations; collects payments and records data.
• Performs data entry of service charges, including the assignment of diagnostic codes and entering physician/clinic charges.
• Coordinates information with Central Billing Office to ensure all charges are captured and properly collected.
