Job summary

BJC Medical Group in Family Medicine, Chesterfield, is seeking a full-time Patient Services Representative to join our front desk team. This outpatient role handles check-ins, scheduling, patient flow, and basic billing support with accuracy and empathy.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience in a medical office and a High School Diploma or GED. Day shift, 40 hours per week, with benefit eligibility and no call or weekend requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handles telephone calls from patients and staff; forwards calls requiring triage.
• Performs receptionist duties with close attention to detail and professionalism.
• Verifies health insurance payment information and educates patients on applicable regulations; collects payments and records data.
• Performs data entry of service charges, including diagnostic codes and charges.
• Coordinates information with Central Billing Office to ensure charges are captured and collected.
