Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare front desk role is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with patient duties including check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones.
• Register patients by collecting and verifying insurance information and updating records as needed.
• Accept payments for services; post payments and enter charges in the system.
• Generate daily payment reports and reconcile cash drawer.
• Provide accurate patient, medical, financial, or procedural information to patients or approved entities.
• Discuss financial arrangements when needed with patients.
• Receive and direct phone calls; assist patients and visitors.
• Respond to routine inquiries about services and hours.
• Ensure patient complaints are handled appropriately.
• Assist with medical records duties as requested.
