Job summary

Tryon Medical Partners is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for our SouthPark location. This full-time role supports the front desk, patient intake, scheduling, and financial transactions at check-in/check-out.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of medical office or healthcare experience, proficiency with EHR systems, and a professional, patient-centered communication style. Training provided; position requires in-office work Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; some college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year medical office or healthcare facility experience.
• Experience with EHR and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments in athenaNet.
• Register patients and prep charts at presentation.
• Greet patients professionally and assist during visits.
• Collect co-payments and payments per policy.
• Educate patients on the patient portal.
• Document accurately in athenaNet to meet regulatory requirements.
• Work at multiple Tryon office locations.
