Job summary

Andwell Health Partners is seeking a Patient Service Navigator in Presque Isle to serve as the first contact for patients, families, and providers in a busy office. You will handle calls, referrals, and patient communications while coordinating scheduling and documentation with supervisors.

You will manage the team’s paperwork, maintain up-to-date insurance knowledge, and ensure accurate EHR entries, delivering reliable administrative support in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Prior office or healthcare scheduling experience strongly preferred.
• Electronic Medical Records experience a plus.
• Strong computer skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent customer service and professional demeanor.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment while also being self-sufficient.
• Task-oriented with multitasking to manage scheduling, referrals, and patient communications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, families, and providers—answering calls, handling referrals, and communicating directly with patients.
• Manage scheduling of clinical staff visits in a busy office environment.
• Ensure appropriate assignment of referrals in consultation with supervisors.
• Assist in developing and evaluating team documentation systems with Supervisor for accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge base on insurance forms, chart forms, and insurance paperwork requirements, sharing with the team.
• Set daily/weekly/monthly priorities for team paperwork.
• Review all paperwork for completeness of forms regularly.
• Develop and maintain systems to coordinate multi-discipline documentation.
• Perform data entry into the EHR for some OASIS and staff timesheets.
• Maintain daily/holiday/weekend schedules.
