Job summary

Andwell Health Partners in Lewiston, ME seeks a Part-Time Patient Service Navigator for Home Health. You’ll be the first contact for patients, families, and providers, handling calls, referrals, and patient communications in a busy office.

You’ll schedule clinical staff visits, coordinate referrals with supervisors, and help maintain team documentation and insurance forms knowledge to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Strong computer skills and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Prior office or healthcare scheduling experience strongly preferred.
• Electronic Medical Records experience a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong customer service and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, families, and providers—answering calls, handling referrals, and communicating directly with patients.
• Manage scheduling of clinical staff visits in a busy office environment.
• Ensure appropriate assignment of referrals in consultation with supervisors.
• Assist in the development, establishment, and evaluation of team documentation systems in conjunction with Supervisor to assure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge base on all insurance forms, chart forms, insurance paperwork requirements, and share information with the team routinely.
• Establish priorities for team paperwork to be done on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

What You’ll Bring

Salary Range

$17.95 - $23.93 Hourly
