Job summary

Talentify in Old Bridge is seeking a Patient Services Rep to be the heartbeat of the patient experience. You will greet patients, manage check-in/out, schedule visits, and coordinate with insurance to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED; preferred are an Associate's or Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years in medical reception or office work and familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience and/or training.
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree, 1-2 years in medical receptionist or general office roles, knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and performing check-in/check-out with professionalism.
• Preparing for visits by reviewing schedules and ensuring information is available.
• Scheduling patient appointments and coordinating follow-ups.
• Answering routine questions in person and by phone with excellent service.
• Performing clerical tasks like copying, scanning, faxing, sorting, and mail distribution.
• Creating and organizing patient health record information.
• Coordinating with insurance providers and handling pre-authorizations.
• Protecting patient privacy and contributing to a safe, welcoming environment.
