Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Morganton, NC, is seeking a Patient Services Representative to manage scheduling, registration, pre-admission and admission processes, greet patients, and handle check-in/check-out and messages.

In this role you will collect and post co-pays and other balances, ensure accurate demographic information, and apply proper patient liability collection practices before, during, and after service.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree is preferred.
• Critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduling, registration, patient pre-admission and admission at the physician practice.
• Performs reception and discharge functions.
• Accurately obtains complete and accurate patient demographic information.
• Performs proper, compliant patient liability collection techniques before, during and after date of service.
