Job summary

Orthopedic ONE is seeking a Scheduling/Reception candidate to check patients in for physician and therapy appointments and to schedule based on templates and protocols. You will support Therapy Services staff by facilitating treatment setup and performing non-clinical duties.

Responsibilities include managing patient information in the practice management system, handling reception tasks, and cross-training to pre-certify procedures as required by insurers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience and basic computer skills required, preferably in a Windows environment with medical management or other scheduling system.
• Maintains current CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and schedules appointments for therapy services according to templates and protocols.
• Collects patient and insurance information and updates in the practice management system; performs reception and clerical duties.
• Pre-certifies procedures as required by insurance providers and assists clinicians as directed.
• Supports therapists with patient movement, treatment setup, and other non-clinical duties.
• Maintains clinic workflow and participates in team coverage as schedule demands.
