Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to join the Ambulatory Team. You will answer calls, triage requests, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and assist with patient registration.

Flexibility to work variable 8-hour shifts, including occasional weekends/holidays, and support six Broward County ambulatory locations as needed. Prior patient service experience is preferred, with strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years in patient registration, scheduling or customer service.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree may substitute for experience as described in qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Answer and triage calls and calendars for patients.
• Obtain authorizations and referrals, schedule appointments, register patients.
• Verify insurance and collect co-pays; manage MyChart enrollment and scheduling.
