Job summary

The position is full-time and based at the 7848 Gateway E clinic. A professional, courteous demeanor and proficiency with MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some receptionist or office experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft (Outlook, Office Word, and Excel) required.
• Must successfully complete required e-learning courses within 90 days of occupying position.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors to the clinic in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
• Provides and explains paperwork for the patient to complete prior to examination; updates demographics and insurance information.
• Answers, screens, and responds to routine questions; routes to appropriate personnel and takes messages.
• Checks patients out after examination and schedules returning appointments.
• Maintains lobby area in a neat and orderly manner and provides general administrative support.
