Job summary

OrthoArkansas is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. You will greet patients, manage check-ins/outs, collect copays, and handle referrals and insurance information with accuracy.

You will also support scheduling, coordinate with clinical staff, and assist with daily clinic operations to maintain smooth patient flow and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a high school diploma or GED with emphasis on office skills.
• 0–6 months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
• Mental alertness and adaptability to medical office environments.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-ins/check-outs to ensure a welcoming, efficient experience.
• Collect copays and handle payments accurately.
• Verify referrals and build insurance packages to keep patient information up to date.
• Process charge tickets and balance TOS money daily according to clinic protocols.
• Update patient demographics and assist with Health Note calls for next-day follow-ups.
• Assist with scheduling return visits and coordinate with clinical staff on patient status.
