Qualifications

• Ability to perform functions using job-related software and systems
• Ability to travel to other clinical facilities as required to accommodate staffing levels

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide patient support services
• Answer phones, direct calls, greet patients and visitors
• Register and check in patients
• Update patient demographics and insurance coverage in the computer system
• Maintain patient medical records via EMR or paper charts
• Take and relay messages or scripted care directions
• Schedule appointments when directed
• Co-pay collections and scheduling return visits when applicable
• Monitor patient wait times and notify appropriate staff of excessive waits
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
