Job summary

BrightView Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the welcoming first point of contact in our Chesapeake clinic. You will handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, collect copays, and support a smooth in-clinic experience that supports recovery journeys.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years front desk experience, strong communication, empathy, and comfort using multiple systems. A High School Diploma is required, and familiarity with HIPAA privacy standards is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years front desk experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Familiarity with HIPAA and 42-CFR Part 2 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administrative duties: be first point of contact, handle inquiries, schedule appointments, collect copays and payments.
• Coordinate and communicate with clinic teams and central support; attend meetings/huddles.
• Documentation and compliance: maintain accurate patient accounts, insurance and billing info; HIPAA familiarity.
