Job summary

A HS diploma, MA certificate, and BLS are required, with 1 year customer service experience and bilingual English/Spanish highly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Medical Assistant certificate is required.
- Current BLS certification is required upon hire.
- One year of customer service experience is required; healthcare setting preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records and multi-phone lines preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assesses incoming calls and directs to the appropriate contact.
- Assists patients with scheduling and re-scheduling appointments.
- Schedules appointments and enters data into electronic scheduler.
- Verifies patient records and prepares charts for visits.
- Receives and records patient payments; ensures data accuracy.
