Responsibilities

• Provide reception and clerical support, including answering phones and scheduling appointments.
• Register patients and assist with insurance, sliding fee, and pre-authorization applications.
• Arrange interpreters as needed and handle records requests and referrals as assigned.

Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative - Dental provides a variety of clerical and office support services including: reception, answering phones, scheduling appointments, arranging interpreters for services needed, registering patients, assisting with insurance, sliding fee, pre-authorization applications, processing request for records, referral, and other general office duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

One (1) year experience as a receptionist in a medical and/or dental office setting.
