Job summary

International Community Health Services (ICHS) is seeking a Dental Assistant II to support dentists in patient exams and a range of dental procedures in our Seattle area clinics.

The role involves preparing and maintaining instruments, equipment, and materials, while ensuring patients are relaxed and comfortable. A minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience and WA Health Department registration are required.

Qualifications

• One year of Dental Assistant experience required.
• Active Dental Assistant Registration from Washington State Department of Health required.
• High school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist with patient exams and a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment and materials for procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort and relaxation during treatment.

Job Summary

The Dental Assistant II assists the dentist with patient exams and a variety of dental procedures which include preparing and maintaining instruments, equipment, and materials for all dental procedures, while ensuring patients are relaxed and as comfortable as possible. Pay is dependent on experience.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience

One (1) year of Dental Assistant experience required. Dental Assistant experience in pediatric dentistry and with patients with special health care needs preferred.

Other Requirement(s)

Active Dental Assistant Registration from Washington State Department of Health required.
