This position is based in our beautiful Port St. Lucie (Tradition) office, one of the Treasure Coast's premier outpatient orthopaedic centers. You'll work alongside an experienced team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a modern, professional, and collaborative environment.

As one of the first and last people our patients interact with, you'll play an essential role in creating a positive experience from the moment they arrive until they leave. We’re looking for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service while keeping the front office running smoothly.

If you’re dependable, organized, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative healthcare team, we’d love to meet you.

Why Join South Florida Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine?

South Florida Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is a growing physician‑lead specialty practice serving patients throughout the Treasure Coast. Our physicians specialize in orthopaedics, sports medicine, joint replacement, pain management, podiatry, and rehabilitation services.

We offer:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Stable, full‑time Monday through Friday employment
  • A supportive, collaborative team environment
  • Opportunities to learn, grow, and advance within a respected specialty practice
What You’ll Do

As a Patient Services Representative, you’ll help ensure every patient receives a welcoming, efficient, and professional experience from arrival through departure.

Responsibilities include:

  • Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and exceptional customer service.
  • Complete patient check‑in and check‑out using our electronic medical record and patient registration systems.
  • Verify demographic and insurance information and obtain required documentation.
  • Collect copayments, deductibles, outstanding balances, and process patient payments accurately.
  • Schedule follow‑up appointments and coordinate future visits according to provider instructions.
  • Assist patients with navigating the office and direct them to the appropriate departments.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and fellow team members to support efficient patient flow.
  • Balance daily payments and complete end‑of‑day reconciliation reports.
  • Maintain accurate patient registration and documentation within the electronic medical record.
  • Cross‑train to provide coverage for other Front Office responsibilities as needed.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
  • Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.
Our Ideal Candidate

You enjoy working with people and understand that exceptional customer service is just as important as accuracy and efficiency. You remain calm and professional during busy clinic days, communicate with kindness and confidence, and enjoy being part of a team dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care.

You are dependable, detail‑oriented, and take ownership of your work. You consistently demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. You are comfortable learning new systems, adapting to changing priorities, and helping wherever needed to support patients and your coworkers.
