You will be the first and last point of contact, delivering a welcoming, efficient experience from arrival to departure. This full-time role requires dependable, detail-oriented professionals who thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting and enjoy working with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a medical office or healthcare customer service role.
• Experience performing medical front office duties, including patient registration, appointment scheduling, and payment collection.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional and positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer proficiency with the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and exceptional customer service.
• Complete patient check-in and check-out using our electronic medical record and patient registration systems.
• Verify demographic and insurance information and obtain required documentation.
• Collect copayments, deductibles, outstanding balances, and process patient payments accurately.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate future visits according to provider instructions.
• Assist patients with navigating the office and direct them to the appropriate departments.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and fellow team members to support efficient patient flow.
• Balance daily payments and complete end-of-day reconciliation reports. Maintain accurate patient registration and documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Cross-train to provide coverage for other Front Office responsibilities as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.
