Job Description

The Patient Services Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, playing a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This position is responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and assisting with check-in and check-out processes. This role allows for a hybrid schedule upon completion of the 90-day introductory period and commencement of training.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
• Schedule and confirm appointments accurately via phone or in person.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Collect co-pays and other payments, provide receipts, and balance daily transactions.
• Manage patient check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and route calls to appropriate departments.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent service.
• Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry.

Qualifications
