Get ready to make a difference as a Patient Services Representative! You'll be the friendly face that welcomes patients with a smile, guiding them through their financial responsibilities and ensuring they understand their copayments. You'll also be the go-to person for updating patient demographics and insurance details, making sure everything runs smoothly. Join us and be a part of something truly impactful!

Responsibilities:

  • Help patients navigate the healthcare system by providing clear and understandable instructions
  • Assist with administrative duties in the office including but not limited to scanning of medical records and faxing
  • Assist patients in education of financial responsibility and connect them to advocacy resources as needed
  • Obtain signature of patient or family member for consent to treatment and financial responsibility following the Health Insurance Portability and
  • Accountability Act (HIPAA) rules and regulations
  • Confirm/verify insurance benefits with the appropriate carrier via online verification systems or telephone inquiries
  • Collect copayments and any other applicable patient payments at the point of service


Schedule: 10 hour shifts. Rotating days, weekends, and holidays. The primary shifts are 6a-4p, 6:30a-4:30p, 7a-5p, 8a-6p, 11a-9p, 2p-12a but could include others as needed. This position will mostly work in the Emergency Department, but could be pulled to Main Registration and Bed Control at the Hospital.
