Job summary

OrthoAtlanta in Stockbridge, GA, is seeking a Patient Services Representative to greet patients, check in and out, and handle inquiries about appointments, insurance, and procedures.

You will collect co-pays and balances, schedule visits, and maintain accurate patient data in the EMR while supporting a fast-paced clinic.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2+ years in a medical office, EMR familiarity (Epic a plus), and strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems.
• Strong customer service and professional demeanor.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check in/out, and answer questions about appointments, insurance, or procedures
• Collect co-pays, prepayments, and outstanding balances accurately while explaining financial policies as needed
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments, answer incoming calls, and ensure timely patient communication and follow-through
• Input and update patient demographics, insurance information, and visit details into the EMR system
• Open and close the front office, keep the waiting area clean and organized, and work assigned EMR buckets to support clinic flow
• Thrive in a fast-paced, people-facing role
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and staff
• Juggle multiple responsibilities with poise and attention to detail
• Love organizing tasks and solving front-desk challenges
• Work independently while being a strong team player

What You’ll Need
