Job summary

Tryon Medical Partners is seeking a Patient Service Specialist - Float to support patient intake and processing across all locations. The role runs full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with some flexibility for 2 days per week plus 1 Friday per month.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in a medical office, experience with EHR and scheduling, and strong customer service skills. Ability to drive to multiple Tryon locations is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year medical office or healthcare facility experience.
• Experience serving customers in person and on the phone.
• E.H.R. and Scheduling experience.
• Must be willing to drive to any location.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments in athenaNet.
• Prepare new patient charts and/or paperwork at patient presentation.
• Greet patients and visitors professionally.
• Perform registration accurately and completely.
• Educate patients on the Patient Portal and materials.
• Collect co-payments, balances, pre-payments, and payments per policy.
• Create Credit Card on File Contracts at Check-In.
• Balance and close batches daily.
• Document messages and information in the system.
• Work at different Tryon office locations as needed.
