Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Warm Welcome: Greet and assist patients and visitors with a positive attitude.
• Patient and Business Documentation: Maintain confidentiality and organize important documents.
• Insurance Verification: Analyze health insurance benefits, verify eligibility, and explain policies and payment/billing information.
• Financial Responsibility: Collect and communicate patient financial responsibilities clearly.
• Collaborative Support: Assist the practice manager, providers, and staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA regulations in documentation and processes.
• Travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required.
• Patient result trackers.
