Piedmont Urgent Care by Wellstreet is hiring a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients. You will manage front-office tasks, verify insurance, and collect payments while supporting a team-oriented healthcare environment.

The role offers full-time hours with 12-hour shifts, weekends and some holidays, and opportunities for professional growth within a busy urgent-care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficient in EMR software, EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with a positive attitude.
• Maintain confidentiality and organize patient and business documents.
• Verify health insurance benefits and eligibility, explain billing policies.
• Determine and collect patient financial responsibility.
• Support clinic staff and providers to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance in documentation and processes.
